ACFI Elects 2007 - 2010 Board

At the time of the election we had not been able to obtain documented objective criteria with which we could determine the voters who under age 18. That made it impossible to accurately determine at the time who did and didn't need guardian ID. The tellers did the best they could under the circumstances and used subjective criteria as the basis for their count. They deserve our thanks for their work. Subsequently, thanks to Will Wharton and USCF we were able to obtain a list of USCF ID numbers of those in Arizona under age 18 (with no contact information) and use it to perform a recount based on objective criteria. Please note that the final counts differed from the original counts, but not by very much. There were no changes in the places of any of the candidates.

ACFI Financial Report

The ACFI Financial Report, submitted by Treasurer Jennifer Shacter, has been approved by the Board with a vote of 11 - 0 (Treasurer did not vote). It is attached to this article for those who are interested. Myron L.

ACFI Election - Endorsements and Slates

There have been endorsements of candidates or slates of candidates distributed to voters. Anyone has the right to endorse whomever they want, including write-ins, but the public has the right to know who is making the endorsement. Please be sure, if you are going to distribute any form of endorsement, that your name or organization's name is on the same document. The ACFI has not and will not endorse candidates in its own election, so please understand that any endorsements or proposed slates are NOT originated by ACFI. Thank you, Myron Lieberman
